About Us

As the new season starts I would like to thank the committee and coaches for the work and commitment they gave last season which has helped us to gain the FA Charter Standard. I have been educated in this last year as to how much effort goes in to the running of a football club and this is all carried out on a voluntary basis.

I am a great believer in sport for children of all ages as I feel that it is important for their development to take part in team events and also teaches respect and discipline. However, more importantly, it is a breeding ground for friendships that can last a lifetime as I know from personal experience. As I visit training sessions and matches, please introduce yourself to me as I would dearly like your comments as to how the club is progressing, good or bad!!

We will be running a few social events this year and whereas obviously, we do need to raise money for the club, it also gives us an opportunity for everyone to mix socially and pass on their views and ideas which will hopefully benefit our youngsters.

We are a charity and everybody who is involved in the running of the club does so for free and we do our best to keep the fees for the children low so that as many youngsters as possible have access to junior football.

Sponsorship is always welcome and an important addition for us to keep the club running with kits and equipment etc. Apart from the obvious advertising benefits there is also a financial tax incentive when dealing with charities which is worth keeping in mind. Should you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact me by email which is raylesdennis@hotmail.co.uk.

Finally, I have an extremely pro-active committee so if you cannot get in touch with me, any one of them would be only too happy to address your questions or suggestions.
